The 3D map is displayed from the rider's perspective. Dependent on the zoom scale of the viewed map, the BMW Motorrad Navigator III varies the viewing angle so that the information on the screen can be viewed always showing the information that is needed at the time so as to fit the whole screen in the best way.

Bluetooth interface allows wireless communication of voice directions and mobile phone calls to riders with helmets that are so equipped.
The number of the incoming caller is displayed on the screen of the Navigator III, making rapid identification possible. An incoming call can be conveniently accepted by pressing the ENTER button or ignored by pressing the ESC button. If incoming calls are to be automatically accepted, the relevant automatic call acceptance function in the mobile phone should be activated.
