Geosat 6 gives the possibility to choose among Landscape and Portrait view in the extra large 4.8" full colour display with a 16:9 Widescreen format.

Geosat 6 features Turn-by-turn vocal instructions with Text-to-Speech announcing street names (e.g. "Turn Right in Falmouth Road"). Just listen to spoken road names without looking away from the road.

User can download POIs such as speed cameras. He must first register his device on the www.avmap.it web site under the Support / Register section, in order to be able to download the Geosat update application.

To access the users personal POIs, user have to select User POI option from the POI Management Menu. The complete list of the user’s POIs will be displayed. User can select a group to access the complete info. From here, he can :

  • set an approaching alarm to all the POIs belonging to the group,
  • view or hide the POI icon from the map,
  • add the group to favourites.
