The 3D map is displayed from the rider's perspective. Dependent on the zoom scale of the viewed map, the BMW Motorrad Navigator III varies the viewing angle so that the information on the screen can be viewed always showing the information that is needed at the time so as to fit the whole screen in the best way.

With the POI loader program, users can set up proximity alerts for school zones, safety cameras, and more.
Import customized points of interest created by others with the help of Garmin's new POI Loader software.
User can upload safety cameras or school zones, and user will receive a warning if he is traveling too fast. In addition, an optional proximity-alert feature notifies of upcoming custom POIs.
User can download the latest version of POI Loader software for free from website.
POI Loader does not create customized POIs, nor is it software for Garmin GPS. It simply gives the ability to upload POIs created by others from user computer to his compatible.
